Refugee Week 2024 is 17 to 23 June

The theme for Refugee Week 2024 is “Our Home”.

Join us at the Southwark Refugee Communities Forum to celebrate what home means to us. Through creativity and conversations, Refugee Week 2024 will celebrate the contributions, resilience and creativity of refugees and people seeking sanctuary.

On Saturday 22 June join us in Burgess Park for a Football Match between teams from the Driscoll House and Best Western hotels.

Then on Saturday 29 June we have our Annual Celebration of the amazing cultures in Southwark from around the world. Come to St Giles Church from 11am to 4pm for dance, food and family friendly activities.

Refugee Week is supported by Southwark Council. “We are committed to making Southwark a recognised ‘Borough of Sanctuary’ in 2024. Our vision is a place that welcomes, supports and celebrates asylum seekers, refugees and migrants.”
