Enabling refugees and migrants to talk about their experience with Covid-19
This project will provide refugees and migrants with online platforms to share their experiences, express their concerns and address the impact of isolation during the time of the pandemic and the lockdown, as face-to-face interaction is no longer possible.
SRCF will be running the following activities:
Refugee & Migrant Voices Podcasts
A series of podcast interviews to record the experience of local refugees and migrants and create a platform for them to tell their stories of how Covid-19 has affected their communities in all aspects of their lives.
Online Interagency Forums
SRCF in partnership with its member organisations, statutory and voluntary local agencies will run a series of online forum meetings to identify the emerging needs of refugee and migrant communities as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Our forums will focus on the impact of Covid-19, while enabling communities to meet, debate, share information and put forward their thoughts and proposals directly to local policy makers to shape an effective response to the pandemic in Southwark.
