Driscoll House versus Best Western

22 June 2024 : We organised a football match between teams of asylum seekers currently housed in two local hotels: Best Western in Peckham and Driscoll House on the Old Kent Road. The match was played in a great spirit, and ended 2-2, the perfect result.

Jason Vincent from the Millwall Community Trust said “It was important to be able to bring together the players who were able to meet for the first time and play football. It was great to hear they would like to get together again soon which will continue to help their transition into the local borough whilst integrating into the communities.”

Afterwards, we had a barbecue and Eritrean coffee back at SRCF.
